TheEliteExtremophile If you’re a bigger fan of The Wall or Roger Waters’s solo career than I am, this record should be right up your alley. And even if you share my reservations, I’d recommend giving Solitaire a chance.

Treefingers 05:56
Far away we're so close that we can barely recognize from a little spot that we call home we dance a tango by the sun play the horns some minor scale like a waiting music stomp a constant wear and tear of breath until the river comes to death. Well if you want to leave forget it all, they lied For everything you feel you've got to wear a blame, and lock your heart oh what is love what is love oh how you laugh while I leave, how we laugh oh what is this what is this oh it is cold it is cold. Save your mind apart from the gate light a fire, burn it to the grace our tear stained eye shines on milky way. I hope your news says this is not going to last, I'm not the one to escape!

Logan 04:52
Change your faith But don't change your mind it's hard to find a better crime Bleach your eyes Feed apathy to see you share a snap like a whore until you don't think to cause a bigger change do you want the change? We like old craps the way they stay still and blow a breath a little windmill, It’s hard to get who wanted all this shit to happen And so easy come, easy go We need you to feel the change to never change Please never the change who needs to change, right? Lights in your faces they'll show you no good That lights in the basement you know All of your ifs, all of your whys, they really don't mean a thing All of your choices, all of your voices sigh! So here what you've got A mole in your thoughts Will you get to hold them tight? Well this world has got a break Since humanity got first breath, yeah No one've scaled the whole universe To be on the brighter side Still alive and safe tonight.

Bad Bones 05:47
There's a brand new ghost on a golden stream entwined in my hair hidden like a strenght I can feel it now deep in my bones may it always be there. I thought they would have bloomed the fields beyond this town and their lovely football rumbles. Higher than the top or caught into the ground the solitary man is blessed. Kids are screaming very loud It's just another point of view Sat through days of thin bad bones The salesmen come back home. While I drop a part of me And let the fever rise again I set myself to bring the worst From my old pale memories And kids are screaming very loud it's just another point of view I set myself to bring the worst and healing my bones.

After the flood alone in the crowd slowed to hear all aloud the hunter was still and inquiring at me, he said: could this be the victims' song? Lenient the word as long as he spoke trying to find a glimmering but apologies meet in answers' suspect to the death of a nation's tongue. I love my mother I love my father now I can see their face I see my brother all the others on the breeze they flow. Love is where it is the shelter's broken stay around, beyond the tide We're falling youth wasted desperately in need of wealth Free falling night calls me farewell, that ain't me babe. We are tired to be alone.

Faith 06:17
Faith, caress my name myself amongst waves Faith, the evening falls it took many of fools to find our brotherhood, again. I look to the other land where we'll hoard our sacred hearts there are flower-bearing pilgrims beyond the wall. They fuck you up when you're a child They fill you up until you smile they've put a treasure in a goddess in the sky. And now we've got famine, when we eat we've got troubles, when we need We've got cemetery streets We don't believe you, no more fear our people choose to see we are the eyes of the cosmos, the vulnerable beat of our bliss. We are the resistance!
7.
The shapes of our hearts flame over the ground as if we deserve to be loved we do still believe to not lose a inch... of ourselves 'cause we choose to be here and not to be... there

Seasons 09:25
Many stories grow from a summer that is gone and when they'll reach the shore the ocean rose is torn. Inside the coastal bend the winter child will drown, for how long will he hold the seasons of his war? On the promenade there's a line of young waiting men who carry the weight of blame over their face, and when they see rain grope like mud lanes down the wall. Sleepless eyes: do they wait in vain? Days build the sky of western fields, light fires in black night as lonely satellites. Is maybe that they rise from little wonders? They do. While there's still time we should call these old fields home. Standing on the shoreline tonight yet another distance declines, on this silver railroad we're bound waiting for the ocean to rise. Now we’re back home Satellites thru these fields of love.

about

Alcàntara is a psychedelic-prog rock band from Italy. Their first release is a concept album named "Solitaire".

Capturing the timeless Pink Floyd legacy, the album goes far beyond: dreamlike melodies, great grooves and majestic arrangements build solid textures that keep the tension high over more than 45 minutes of space ballads and gloomy blues.

But there is more!

“Solitaire” is also a statement of resistance with its lyrics denouncing the decline of society and political class and calling all the people to resist.
